Penn State is already down a member of its 2022 freshman class with defensive end Ken Talley opting to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from Matt Zenitz of AL.com. Talley was the last Nittany Lion freshman to arrive on campus prior to the start of preseason camp and made the decision to exit two weeks into training for the ‘22 season.
Talley was rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals and was billed as a player who could line up at linebacker or defensive end. The Northeast High School product made his debut on the Penn State roster as a defensive end listed at 6-foot-2 and 238 pounds. His name has since been removed from the team’s online roster.
