The Nashville Stars organization is welcoming Tri-State native and 6-time All Star Don Mattingly as its newest baseball advisor.
Mattingly has been tasked with helping to bring a Major League Baseball team to the Music City.
He will be added to the franchise, led by former Oakland Athletics pitcher Dave Stewart turned baseball executive.
Mattingly will also start his first season as a bench coach for the Toronto Blue Jays this upcoming spring.
