DETROIT, Mich. – The losing streak for the Detroit Pistons is up to 10 games. They are going to try, once again, and put an end to it on Saturday night, as they get set to host the Indiana Pacers for the first of two matchups.

The Pistons extended their losing streak on Thursday night, thanks to another disappointing outcome against the second-worst team in the Eastern Conference, the Charlotte Hornets. Though they played tough in the second half, Detroit could not overcome an early deficit, falling 113-103. James Wiseman had a solid game, though, grabbing a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Detroit is one of three teams that have already been eliminated from playoff contention. They still have the worst record in the NBA as well, sitting a half-game back of the Houston Rockets. Their last win happened to come against the Hornets back on Feb. 3.
The Pacers are doing their best to stay in the hunt for a postseason berth. Following a hard-fought overtime win over the Rockets on Thursday, they are just one game back of the Washington Wizards for the last Play-In spot in the East. Indiana has been playing solid basketball as of late, as they are winners in four of their last six games.
This will be just the second meeting this season between the two teams. The Pacers pulled out a win in Indianapolis back in October. The Pistons will also host the Pacers again on Monday night.
