How to Watch the New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers – MLB Spring Training | Channel, Stream, Preview

LAKELAND, Fla. – As the Spring Training season continues, Detroit Tigers fans are getting a great look at what is coming up this season, and the future that is on the horizon. That action continues on Friday when they host the New York Yankees.

The Tigers continue to hover around the .500 mark in Grapefruit League action as a team. Following their Thursday afternoon victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates, they are 8-6 this spring, having won back-to-back games over the St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Nationals before that. Zach Short has been producing rather well, as the shortstop is 6-for-15 so far, with a couple of runs batted in and two home runs, along with a 1.393 on-base percentage.

Along with franchise superstar Aaron Judge, the Yankees are hoping to replicate regular-season success, and turn it into a run in the playoffs. New York met their hated rivals, the Boston Red Sox, on Thursday, falling 11-7, and is 7-6 so far down in Florida. Along with Judge, other players worth watching in Pinstripes include the likes of Willie Calhoun and young prospect Jasson Dominguez.

Friday will mark the third of five matchups between the Tigers and Pinstripes in Grapefruit League action. The two teams have split the first two meetings, with Detroit winning the last meeting on March 3.
