We’re still a few weeks away from really knowing who’s a contender and who’s a pretender in the NBA this season, but we’re all excited to find out.

Here are some of our best NBA player props for Wednesday, November 2.

November 2 NBA player props: Trae Young props for MSG return and more

Knicks vs. Hawks player props: Trae Young over 28.5 points (-110 or better)

Trae Young makes his return to New York and will surely be welcomed nicely by Knicks faithful in Madison Square Garden.

Always a fan of playing the villain, expect Young to be aggressive and get the Hawks back on track after back-to-back losses.

Young is right on the bubble of this prop, averaging 29 points per game so far this season.

He’ll come to play in the world’s most famous arena and push for 30+ in this one against a small Jalen Brunson.

RJ Barrett props: Over 5.5 rebounds (-130 or better)

Once again we find ourselves with a player prop that’s right on the bubble. Barrett is grabbing 5.8 rebounds per game through six games this season.

As long as it’s a good and close game, which it should be, Barrett will be in the trenches and crashing the boards.

He grabbed six and eight rebounds in his last two home outings, plus Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randle are likely to have some trouble inside.

If so, Barrett will need to pick up some of the slack from the wing.

Celtics vs. Cavaliers player props: Jayson Tatum props

Jayson Tatum props: Over 27.5 points (-112 or better)

Tatum is averaging nearly 31 points per game this season, is playing in primetime against another East contender and his over/under is only 27.5? Seems like an easy answer here.

He’s shooting the lights out to start the season, and although Cleveland’s got some solid defenders, Tatum’s offense is just that good. For reference, he scored 32 against them last week as well.

Grizzlies vs. Blazers player props: Ja Morant props for Wednesday

Ja Morant props: Under 7.5 assists (-108 or better)

Morant is averaging just 6.3 assists per game (with 33.3 points, of course) and 5.5 on the road. The Grizzlies could be without Desmond Bane, who’s day-to-day – even if he plays, he might not be 100 percent.

All that wrapped together and you get a solid shot at Morant’s under on assists hitting tonight.

Pelicans vs. Lakers player props: Zion, LeBron best bets

LeBron James props: Under 2.5 three-pointers made (+114 or better)

The King is shooting at a 26.1 percent clip from beyond the arc this season and has hit more than two threes just once this season.

If the Lakers hope to win, they’ll need James to do more damage in the paint – that is both drawing fouls and finishing at the rim. He’s been shooting a lot of threes, but that number has shrunk in four straight games.

Zion Williamson props: Under 24.5 points (-106 or better)

Williamson is averaging under 22 points per game this season and will be up against a combination of LeBron James and Anthony Davis under the rim – where he does most of his work.

He’s still getting his footing since coming back from injury and despite the long break since his last outing, it’s likely we won’t see Williamson back to his truly dominant form for a bit longer.
