NBA

Dean Wade, F, Cleveland Cavaliers

Wade had a career game on Oct. 30 against the New York Knicks in a Cavaliers 121-108 victory. Wade dropped 22 points in eight of eleven attempted shots which included six three-point baskets. His three-pointers contributed to the record of the most threes made by a trio of teammates in a single game in NBA history, totaling 22 alongside Kevin Love and Donovan Mitchell. He also recorded four rebounds and three assists in the victory. Wade sits near the top of the NBA in three-point percentage at 62.5% after the Knicks game. The Cavaliers are 5-1 to start the season and in second place in the Eastern Conference with Wade providing a shooting threat off the bench.

Rodney McGruder, G, Detroit Pistons

The veteran McGruder has only played four minutes this season, getting three minutes in a blowout loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 28. The Pistons are currently 2-6 to start the season.

NFL

Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Lockett hauled in five receptions for 63 yards and his third touchdown of the season on Sunday in the Seahawks 27-13 victory over the New York Giants. The touchdown reception gave the Seahawks a 20-13 lead and redeemed Lockett after he dropped a touchdown earlier in the game. Seattle now sits 5-3 on the season and ranks first place in the NFC West as one of the surprise storylines in the NFL.

D.J. Reed, CB, New York Jets

Reed recorded eight combined tackles in the Jets 22-17 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Jets are now a game and a half away from replacing Buffalo in the top spot for the AFC East with a 5-3 record on the season. They will be hosting the Bills at home next Sunday.

Cornelius Lucas, OT, Washington Commanders

Lucas played all 61 offensive snaps in the Commanders 17-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Washington is 4-4 on the season, but fourth place in the highly competitive NFC East.

Byron Pringle, WR, Chicago Bears

Pringle returned to practice last week following a period on injured reserve with a calf injury. While he did not play in the Bears 49-29 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, he is designated to return to the active roster within the next two weeks.
