Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant has once again stunned the NBA, delivering arguably the dunk of the year against the Indiana Pacers.
Morant has been a revelation for the Grizzlies who are equal top of the Western Conference at 29-13 this season, largely thanks to the 23-year-old.

Morant averages 27.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists as the leader of his side.
And while he performs game in, game out, he also brings style to everything he does.
In the third quarter of the Grizzlies 130-112 win over the Pacers, Morant dropped a doozy of a posterizer on the six foot nine Jalen Smith.
After getting past two others, Morant went hard on a man nearly 20cms taller than himself.
Morant had another brilliant game but knocked down 23 points, 10 assists, three rebounds and a block but the dunk will take a special place in his heart.
Asked if it was the best he’d every done, Morant replied: “Yeah, easy.
“It’s what everybody has been waiting for. I finally made it.’’
Teammate Desmond Bane added: “I ain’t seen nothing like that one. That’s probably going to go down as dunk of the year.’’
But the US went nuts for the incredible moment.
“Holy cow … Morant delivering an epic slam,” Pacers broadcaster Chris Denari said.
Analyst Quinn Buckner added: “Look at this jackhammer. Look how far back he starts it. Throw it back to the free throw line then come back and put it down.“Jalen Smith, you have been posterized.”
Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell commented: “Bruh just do the mf dunk contest @JaMorant”.
Under-fire broadcaster Skip Bayless wrote: “JA MORANT DUNK: No man of his size has ever dunked more spectacularly and viciously.”
Denver sports broadcaster Myck Miller posted: “OH MY JA!!!! THIS JUST AINT RIGHT, THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY.”
Grizzlies fan page Growl Towel Central tweeted, “Ja Morant is the best dunker in the NBA. Get this man in the NBA dunk contest ASAP.”
Sports anchor Tyler Greever joked: “Nah man, Ja Morant must be charged for this kind of heinous dunk.”
Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson posted: “Ja Morant has been detained in Indianapolis for crimes against humanity.”
Morant recently made headlines when he burned 27 minutes off the clock waiting over the top of a stationary ball after the Hornets retreated to defence.
It’s also not the first time he’s done it – posterizing Malik Beasley in game 5 of their first round playoff series against the Timberwolves last year.
