The National Basketball Association and Mountain Dew, a product of PepsiCo, an American multinational food, snack and beverage corporation, today announced a comprehensive multiyear marketing partnership that makes Mountain Dew the Official Soft Drink of the NBA in the Philippines. This marks the first marketing partnership between the NBA and Mountain Dew outside North America.
As part of the collaboration, Mountain Dew will serve as the Presenting Partner of NBA 3X Philippines, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament featuring men’s and women’s teams and NBA entertainment that will take place in Manila next year.
This season, Mountain Dew will also launch limited-edition, NBA-branded merchandise, including Mountain Dew bottled products with NBA-themed packaging, apparel and accessories, and will provide fans across the Philippines with a chance to win a trip to attend the league’s marquee events in the U.S., including NBA All-Star and the NBA Playoffs. Additionally, the NBA and Mountain Dew will create original branded content that will be published across the league’s global and local social media channels.
