Arkansas basketball fans on Thursday did not get the former Razorback head-to-head matchup in NBA Summer League action they hoped for.
Ricky Council and the Philadelphia 76ers fell 100-91 to Jaylin Williams and the Oklahoma City Thunder in both teams’ final game at Salt Lake City Summer League, but Williams did not play. The former Arkansas forward did not dress out due to an injury/illness, according to the box score.
Council, who had 13 points with 5 assists and 3 blocks on Wednesday, finished with 8 points on 2 of 8 from the field, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in the loss. He missed both of his three-point attempts and made 4 of 5 shots at the free throw line.
Council committed four turnovers in 26:35 in the lineup.
