The defending champions Golden State Warriors have put on a lukewarm show in the current season. The team has struggled with continuous losses in away games and missed Stephen Curry for several games. However, the Dubs superstar ignited the dull fanbase with his brilliance during the Saturday night game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Following his game-winning performance, superstar LeBron James and NFL star Trey Lance hailed the Chef. Meanwhile, the legends’ appreciation prompted adverse reactions from fans.

The team with the best record in the league, Milwaukee Bucks came into the game with a 9-1 record in the last 10 games. Whereas, the Warriors were on a three-game losing streak. Golden State had a neck-to-neck encounter with the Bucks. However, Curry’s mastery forced the game into overtime, where they pulled off a victory. Curry dropped 22 of his 36 points during the 4th quarter and overtime.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James expressed his admiration with a short and simple tweet after the game. James tweeted a Chef emoji, hinting at Curry’s famous nickname. Meanwhile, San Francisco 49ers star Trey Lance also took to Twitter and appreciated the legend.

However, the fans did not reciprocate the stars’ feelings. Notably, fans have often engaged in ‘Greatest player’ debates involving Curry and King James. So, this could have been the reason for the fans’ adverse reaction.

Even though the Warriors pulled off a close win, another injury worry mounted on the Warriors. Draymond Green succumbed to an ankle injury in the third quarter. There hasn’t been any official information regarding the severity of the injury yet.
