The 2025 NFL playoffs are set to kick off in just two days, and this year’s postseason field promises to deliver thrilling action.

Several teams are making their return to the playoffs, while a few fresh faces join the mix, including the Washington Commanders, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers.

In particular, the Kansas City Chiefs will be a major focus, as they enter the playoffs for the 10th consecutive season. The Chiefs are looking to make history by becoming the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls, adding an extra layer of intrigue to their postseason journey.
The playoff action begins on Saturday, Jan. 11, with the Houston Texans hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on CBS and Paramount+.
Of the seven games scheduled during Wild Card Weekend, two will air on CBS, with Sunday’s early matchup featuring the Denver Broncos traveling to Buffalo to face the Bills.

Amazon will also make history this weekend by streaming its first-ever NFL playoff game. The Pittsburgh Steelers will square off against the Baltimore Ravens for the third time this season in a Saturday night clash streamed on Prime Video.

As expected, there are some heavy favorites in the wild-card round, with the Bills opening as a 9-point favorite against the Broncos, while the Ravens are 9.5-point favorites over the Steelers.

The final game of Wild Card Weekend will be played on Monday, Jan. 13, with the Los Angeles Rams facing the Minnesota Vikings. Although originally scheduled to be played in L.A., the NFL moved the game to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona due to wildfires in Southern California. This marks the first time since 1936 that the league has relocated a playoff game to a different city.
Wild Card Weekend also features matchups with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Green Bay Packers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Washington Commanders. Both of these games are rematches from Week 1, where the Eagles and Buccaneers emerged victorious.
